Isinulat ang awiting "Unchained Melody" ni Alex North at Hy Zaret para sa pelikulang "Unchained" noong 1955 at inawit naman ni Todd Duncan. Mas nakilala ang awiting ito nang bigyang buhay ng grupong "Righteous Brothers" noong 1965 sa kanilang album na "Just Once In My Life", na naging Grammy Hall of Fame.
